Billing & Insurance

Mission Hope Pediatric Therapy, LCC is in-network with all TennCare plans and most commercial insurance plans including: BlueCare, TennCare Select, Amerigroup, UHC Community Plan, AmeriChoice, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Tricare, and more! Give us a call if you are unsure about your insurance plan.

We also accept private-pay clients. To learn more about our private pay options and rates, contact us today!

All payments can be made over the phone by calling 865-333-4673 or by registering for a patient portal with us!

Our Referral Process

A referral is often required prior to initiating any therapy services. Referrals can be faxed to us at 865-951-7281. Upon receiving the referral, we will initiate our intake process, which includes gathering necessary information, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining needed authorizations, and scheduling an evaluation.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, at Mission Hope Pediatric Therapy, we accept insurance. We are in-network with many insurance companies and also offer private-pay options. Our team is available to assist with insurance verification and to provide guidance throughout the billing process.

What is your attendance and cancellation policy?

We love to show grace where grace is due because we know life happens! However, we also have a business to run. If you have 3 no-shows or cancellations in a row without rescheduling, we reserve the right to remove you from our schedule.

How do I pay my bill?

Our patient portal offers a convenient and easy way to pay your bill. Enrolling in our patient portal is simple - all we need is an email address!

Is an evaluation required prior to starting therapy?

Yes. An evaluation allows us to determine your child's individual strengths and areas of need. In addition, the evaluation process helps us tailor your child's therapy goals in a way that will help them receive the maximum benefit from our sessions.

Do I need a referral?

Generally, yes. If we are billing your insurance provider, a referral is typically required. There may be an exception if you are paying out-of-pocket and not through an insurance provider. You can have your primary care physician fax a referral to our office at 865-951-7281.

Can I be present in my child's session? 

Of course! Parent involvement will help your child make faster progress because you will be able to transfer the cues and strategies that we use during therapy into your child's daily life. However, we do always hope for your child to participate independently as this will help them transition into daycares or preschools as they get older.
